Themed Tours

We currently have scheduled the following themed tours for 2017:
  • Sunday, TBA -
    • Ripping Yarns
    • Truth can be stranger than fiction.  For this tour we have assembled some of the best examples of this statement.  From 'comedy capers' at an Emerald Hill fire to the marriage of a local socialite to an Indian prince.

Cost:  $10.00 - members free

Tours will leave from the cemetery gates at the cnr High Street and Parkhill Road, Kew at the time designated.  Duration is around two hours.

Private Group Tours

Subject to availability we conduct weekday (or weekend) tours for community groups.  We can tailor a tour to suit or choose from of our list:

Working Bees

We conduct working bees on the first Saturday of the month, commencing at 10:00 am and concluding around 3:00 pm.  Volunteers are welcome to join for as little or long as they please.  

The cemetery is a big place and as the location varies from month, in order to find out where we are working call Pauline on 0417 278 950 or email  The gates of the cemetery are open on these days and you are welcome to drive through.  Keep a look out for the bright pink flags which show where we are working on that day.
